These events don’t sit will with One Million Moms, whose anti-gay agenda has also led them to protest the wedding of Archie Comics’ first gay character, Kevin Keller. “Children desire to be just like superheroes,” said the group in a statement. “Children mimic superhero actions and even dress up in costumes to resemble these characters as much as possible. Can you imagine little boys saying, ‘I want a boyfriend or husband like X-Men?’” The statement goes on to accuse the publishers of trying to “indoctrate [sic] impressionable young minds.” Marvel and DC have yet to respond to the homophobic comments.   7. AvsX and new Spiderman

    So with new Avengers vs X-Men continuing and the new Spider-Man story arc, one can figure out that Marvel is about to have something huge happen.

    Theories:
    1.They pull a DC and start over with brand new #1s.
    2. Epic Marvel Event

    Either way the Phoenix is going to either
    1. Destroy world, but some character will be able to revert everyone back in time before the Phoenix destroys it.
    2. The Phoenix will create Mutants again and Hope will live up to her name as the “Mutant Messiah”.

    Where does Spider-man play into all this? Well as his story arc is named End of the Earth, one can assume that this will play into AvsX’s story arc as well.
    Be prepared Marvel lovers, something big is about to happen that will change the characters forever.
